Digital Image Collections
Many institutions have begun the process of creating digital image collections. These collections are accessible to all and contain a variety of historical or artistic documents. Here are a few examples of digital image collections available:
- Library of Congress - LC has a large collection of digital images and other media available.
- New York Public Library Digital Gallery -NYPL is one of the largest public library systems in the nation with an assortment of digital image collections to browse through.
- Smithsonian Institute -This American national educational facility hosts an assortment of articles and images.
- University of Puget Sound - Puget Sound is adding to its digital collections slowly but consistently.
- University of Washington Libraries Digital Collections -The University of Washington has many of digital image collections specifically centered on the Pacific Northwest.
